Day 22: (25 sept.)

We finally decided to go to Glacier National Park! It looks like some higher elevation areas are getting some snow, but it doesn't look like it will be too bad so we figured we'd give it a shot.

Also, after much thought, we finally decided we would stay at a lodge inside the park instead of the campground. It is starting to get colder, and it was rainy, and we figured we deserved it!

Nothing too interesting on way, until we arrived at the park and saw the beauty it has to offer. We came in through the west side (the east side is undergoing construction and the main road is cut off). We were staying at the the Lake McDonald lodge, which includes a main lodge where the restaurant and huge fireside area are located. We were in a smaller cabin, which itself had several rooms and a small common area. Our room was small and had bunk beds, but it was very cozy.

When we got inside, we fell in love with it. Everything was new (unlike the previous motels we have stayed in), and although the bathrooms were shared, they were super clean. To be honest, it was nice to stay in a warm room, inside of the park, after all of the camping we have done.

  1. I've stolen a few minutes to type you this. Idoia, Martin, the bears are with me. I couldn't stop them. They told me they'd kill me if I didn't do exactly what they said.

I don't know how much longer I have. Please, call the forestry service, park rangers, FBI, something.

Oh god. I have to go. Please help me.
